Read this first: we sell nothing and add no fee or markup. This tool gives rough planning ranges, not quotes. The sights and activities come live from the free Wikivoyage travel guide. The price ranges are our own planning figures by cost level (set Oct 16, 2026), and they do not include flights. Always check real prices with the airline, hotel or tour company before you book. Any partner link on this site is marked with a disclosure.

Frequently asked questions
How does the Trip Estimator work?
You type a city or pick one of the top 10 focus cities, choose your nights and travelers, and the tool returns three packages: Just get me there, Let me choose and We got you. Each shows things to visit, optional excursions and a ballpark price range.
Are flights included in the price range?
No. The ranges cover lodging, food, local transport and activities. Flights vary too much by route and date, so check the airline directly and compare with Google Flights.
Do you charge a fee or add a markup?
No. We sell nothing and add no fee or markup. The tool is free and needs no sign-up. Any partner link on this site is marked with a disclosure.
Where do the sights and activities come from?
They are loaded live from Wikivoyage, a free travel guide licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. Each result links to the guide page it used.
How accurate are the prices?
They are rough planning ranges set by us on Oct 16, 2026, by cost level (budget-friendly, moderate or pricey). They are not quotes, and real prices change with season, availability and exchange rates.
How to check the real price in 5 minutes
- Open the airline's own website and search your dates. Note the full price with bags and seat.
- Open Google Flights and search the same dates. Compare the totals.
- Check the airline's bag-fee page. Delta lists $45 for a first checked bag and $55 for a second, and American's Main Cabin is $45 and $50 (checked Oct 2026). Fees change, so confirm.
- Book where the total is lowest. Comparison sites are free to you because the airline or hotel pays them a referral fee.
For reference, the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics reported an average domestic airfare of $445 for Q2 2026 (source). International fares vary widely by route and season.
Things to see, do and eat come from Wikivoyage (CC BY-SA 4.0), loaded live when you search. Each result links to the guide page it used. Want a day-by-day plan and a budget split once you pick a place? Try the Trip Builder. More on the Travel planet.
